As the name implies, KrakenTV V2 is a multimedia App, one that allows phone or tablet owners to stream certain audiovisual channels into their Android devices. Essentially, a busy commuter, someone who doesn't have time to sit down in front of a big-screen television, can use this mobile application to view hundreds of online channels. Just by taking advantage of a generous data plan or a nearby WiFi hotspot, movies and TV shows become instantly available.

KrakenTV V2 is an all-in-one multimedia App. That means there are no additional drivers to download, nor does the software pause to request a bunch of hard-to-find plugins. To the contrary, as soon as the program opens, it's ready for a probing finger. Tap on an included channel to load it, then plug in a pair of headphones while watching a favorite show or movie. Many of the channels are pulled in from the USA, but there are also a number of alternative language stations. That's because the rest of the channels pull content in from Mexico, Venezuela, Peru and other Spanish speaking nations. At last count, KrakenTV V2 now has access to over 10 different international markets, so there shouldn't be any shortage of content.

The App is compatible with Chromecast, so a channel can be transferred to a larger screen, assuming that appliance is connected to a Chromecast. Next, there's nothing worse than losing track of a preferred TV channel. After it's lost, it takes several long minutes to find it again. Fortunately, Kraken TV has a favorites button incorporated. If a wished-for station is found, simply add it to the App's memory by tapping the Favorites button. Finally, it's possible to sort the channels in different ways. The first way to do this is to order them by country. That's a logical approach, especially since some stations prefer Spanish over English, or vice-versa. The second sorting option allows users to order their content by category. Use this menu entry to find movies, documentaries, sport and all sorts of interesting entertainment shows. In closing, there is one annoying feature that hurts the App. Quite honestly, it loads too many ads. That's a problem with regular TV channels, of course, but these commercials really do seem to pop up a little too often.
